Super Speckled Wavy Textured Amphora Vase
This medium-sized vase is wheel thrown using a super flecked stoneware clay and finished with two handles to make a classic amphora shape (minus the lid!). I have hand-carved a wavy, topographical pattern into the vase walls, inspired by the sands at low tides on Margate beaches. These carved patterns create textural interest and encourage you to look and feel the vase up close. Glazed in a shiny, waterproof transparent glaze. Hand signed at the base.
