studio dispatch no. 3: made mugs, on a plane
Hello from the tarmac at Heathrow where I'm about to take off to Malawi where I'm travelling for work, hiking, lake hanging, and a visit to a pottery factory (!!). I made those mugs this week, but don't have time to write about it- handles and trimming shots below. Radiators are great for drying handles in winter so they're leather hard a bit quicker, but I forgot about them a bit long and wasn't happy with a few mugs as a result. More clay recycling for me when I get home!
I highly doubt I'll be writing next week, but next Monday I'll be visiting Dezda pottery in Malawi so I'll have lots to say in two weeks!
